When you've got some core information to communicate in a way that's hard to resist, infographics are the way to go. Quick to digest (that's the point after all, right?), fun to look at and equally fun to design, everybody likes a well-executed, thoughtful infographic.

For me, designing an infographic provides the same satisfaction as piecing together a puzzle. Makes sense though - that's really what's going on with an infographic - many pieces of an information puzzle assembled to provide a single, clear picture.

Bonicel

Bonicel is a branded, clinically-backed, probiotic-derived ingredient for the cosmeceutical industry shown to have substantial benefits in promoting healthier skin. When developing the Bonicel brand, the brief was all about creating a high-end impression, an exceptional ingredient that would be embraced by top skincare companies.

Simplicity and refinement were keys to achieving the desired outcome. A limited color palette making strong use of the rich amber hue of the ingredient, subtle typography, and uncluttered layouts allowed the brand to convey its desired identity and opened the door to successful industry collaborations.

Logos

"A logo is about identification, not communication." – Sagi Haviv

Whether you agree with this statement or not, developing a mark that successfully identifies and differentiates a brand requires a solution with a level of elegance not needed in any other situation. It's the ultimate confluence of so many (accurate) cliches - less is more, concept is king, keep it simple.

True, a brand isn't a logo and a logo isn't a brand, but done well, a logo should evoke emotion and, if possible, succinctly communicate what the brand strives to be.

Wellmune already had a small presence in the functional food and beverage market when it was acquired by Kerry with the goal of growing it into a dynamic, global immune ingredient.

With a focus on portraying how Wellmune can help facilitate an active, natural lifestyle, an energetic sensibility was established to support the brand. Guidelines specifying bright, lively imagery were established and powerful layouts and design elements were created.
